Curated Legacy Inc. was founded in Tampa, Florida to do work that compounds: teach people the financial fundamentals nobody taught them, help them get to where they need to go, and stand up beside their community when the worst happens.
Our mission is to create pathways toward lasting independence and generational progress.
We empower individuals and families through three connected pillars: financial literacy that demystifies budgeting, credit, banking, and insurance; transportation access that closes the gap between potential and opportunity; and community development that mobilizes when neighbors — at home or abroad — need solidarity.
Each pillar exists because the others rarely succeed alone. A great budget without a way to get to work doesn't build wealth. A working car without insurance literacy is a financial trap. And neither matters when a hurricane takes your roof. So we work on all three, in concert.
Curated Legacy formed in 2025 around a simple realization: if you have the resources to help, the question is no longer whether — it's how, and how fast.
We will be matching every donation dollar-for-dollar up to $20,000. Not a single dollar for travel or lodging will be taken from donated funds.

With Hurricane Melissa devastating Jamaica, founder Phillip Matar — joined by Graeme Patrick — moved fast: a 501(c)(3) was established with the help of Taylor Financial to ensure every dollar would be secure, tax-deductible, and direct.
That campaign became the proof of concept. Today, Curated Legacy continues that work — both as an emergency-response organization and as a long-horizon educator and accessibility partner in our home community of Tampa.
